Privacy Policy

This is a translation. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.

Looplab Inc. ("we") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and related laws, and publishes this policy to protect your personal data and to handle any concerns about it.

1. Why we process personal data

We process personal data only for the purposes below. If a purpose changes, we take the steps the law requires, such as asking for new consent.

  • Receiving marketing and campaign enquiries, and replying with proposals and quotes
  • Sending the company deck, and limiting repeated requests from one address
  • Sending the newsletter, if you subscribed
  • Running and securing the website: preventing abuse, diagnosing errors, improving the service

We do not collect resident registration numbers or other unique identifiers, nor sensitive data such as beliefs or health.

3. How long we keep it

We delete personal data without delay once its purpose is met or the period below ends.

Where another law requires us to keep data longer, we keep it for the period that law sets.

4. Sharing with third parties

We use personal data only for the purposes in section 1 and do not give it to third parties, unless you consent or a law specifically requires it.

5. Processors

We entrust the following processing to service providers, under contracts that require them to keep the data safe, and we oversee that they do.

6. Transfers outside Korea

For the processing in section 5, we transfer personal data abroad under Article 28-8(1)(3) of the Personal Information Protection Act, as follows.

If you do not want your data transferred abroad, you can reach us by phone (+82 10-3168-0401) instead of the website forms. The forms and deck requests are then unavailable to you.

7. How we delete data

  • When: without delay, once the retention period ends or the purpose is met.
  • How: electronic files are deleted so they cannot be recovered; paper is shredded or incinerated.

8. Your rights

You may at any time ask to see, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal data, or withdraw your consent.

  • Email looplab@looplab.co.kr or call us; we act without delay, within ten days, and tell you the outcome.
  • A legal representative or someone you authorise may ask on your behalf, with a letter of authority.
  • You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, from the email itself or by contacting us.
  • Data another law requires us to keep cannot be deleted on request.

9. How we keep data safe

  • Organisational: only the staff who need personal data can reach it, and they are trained regularly.
  • Technical: every connection is encrypted (HTTPS), and the admin console is limited to authenticated accounts.
  • Physical: data is kept in certified cloud data centres.

10. Cookies and similar technology

We do not use cookies for advertising or for tracking visitors. Your theme and whether you closed the announcement banner are kept only in your browser's storage and are never sent to us.

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings; the website works normally without them.

11. Children

This website is meant for businesses and creators. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14.

12. Privacy officer

Our privacy officer oversees the processing of personal data and handles complaints and remedies.
